This stay is a paradise dream for all-inclusive family vacays and we are so dang happy we decided to stay here for our first family trip ever!!!

It was my third time visiting this beautiful island and second time staying at Club Med in Miches - only this time, I got to bring my little fam :')

How to get there

Miches is a small, rural beach town along the Northeast Coast of the island. You’ll need to fly into Punta Cana to get here & from there it’s only a 1.5 hour drive away. This little town filled with beaches, nearby mountains, tropical forests and incredible food is still a best-kept secret among locals! There’s nothing sweeter than visiting an off-the-beaten path destination.

Club Med is actually the first and only resort in this region! It has four boutique villages providing different experiences––we stayed in the Explorer Cove, which is specifically tailored to families with young kids. Our room included a baby bed, baby bath tub, changing table, stroller + bottle warmer! ALSO, the main restaurant even includes a baby corner to prep your little one’s food.

As our first family trip, I wanted to make sure we’d stay somewhere that was baby/kid-friendly especially for Nalu boy, our 5 month old :) And we can 1000% say this stay couldn’t have been a more perfect place!

ASIDE FROM HAVING THE OCEAN IN OUR BACKYARD, THE FOOD HERE WAS OUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE.

Cayuco is the main restaurant where they have ALL types of foods for breakfast, lunch + dinner.

Coco Plum Beach Lounge (our personal fav) is right on the ocean with so many yummy local specialties! The nutella crepes are just 🤍🤍🤍

The Coffee Shop is where we stopped by every day for our morning coffee before heading to breakfast!

SO many fun activities + experiences for our little kiddos!

The resort offers a ton of fun things to do as a family and for your babies/toddlers. There’s family paddle boarding, kids zip-lining & ropes course, Baby Club Med (an on-demand childcare service), different games and events every night AND even a mini water park!

bonus: if you stay in the explorer cove family suites - there’s an exclusive family area to la perla pool + bar

Nalu boy was living his best life hehe.

Although the resort has 3 outdoor pools, we really loved how intimate this family area felt. We just lounged here all day and enjoyed the yummy cocktails from the mini bar :)

there are heaps of activities for us parents too :)

Club Med offers the most incredible all-inclusive amenities like fitness classes, kayaking, paddle boarding, wing foil, an adults-only zen pool, you name it. Our favorite added extra: THE SPA.

We totally took advantage and booked a massage for both of us!! While J had his massage, I stayed with Nalu and enjoyed the spa lounge area. We came out feeling like brand new parents hehe.

IF you prefer a couples massage, you also have the option of leaving your little one at Baby Club Med for the hour and enjoy this sweet time together!

J and I feel SO grateful to have been able to spend our first vacation as a family here! Whether you’re just wanting to lounge around the pool + beach all day basking in the sun OR be adventurous and try out all kinds of fun activities + excursions, Club Med was the perfect stay for the the best of both worlds.
